Commissioned by the Festival, Where do we all belong? is a socially-engaged visual art project addressing loneliness in the Liberties.

On Wednesday May 13th & Thursday May 14th, Where do we all belong? will be researching attitudes and insights to loneliness in The Liberties. Feedback will be sought directly and/or via a questionnaire which will be distributed locally and available to respond, anonymously, online until the end of May.

This project by artist Ronan Dillon, was first realised in Sligo in autumn 2025, culminating in an exhibition in the Abhainn Gallery in Enniscrone, Co Sligo.

Where do we all belong? is part of the Liberties Festival 2026 by the Liberties Community Project. It runs from July 20-26. This project is a recipient of a Dublin City Council Arts Office Neighbourhood Grant scheme award.
