Welcome to The Liberties Festival

21st - 27th July 2025

The Liberties Festival is one of Ireland’s oldest festivals. From modest beginnings in 1970 it has grown to become a highlight of the summer in Dublin with a series of family-friendly, sporting and community events, and an exciting multi-cultural and arts programme.

    A free festival is not free

    Quality cultural programming that is safe and genuinely accessible costs money to deliver.

    The Liberties Festival 2025 is delivered by The Liberties Community Project. We receive support from Dublin City Council, Diageo and organisations and businesses operating in the area. 


    We need your support to continue delivering our ambitious, quality, and fun programme of events. Please consider donating if you are attending The Liberties Festival 2025 or you just like the cut of our jib.
